About DecodePersonality
DecodePersonality is an independent site with a free 16-type assessment and full type reports. The goal is practical insight you can use in ordinary life, not a label that boxes you in.
What we are trying to do
Give people clear language for their strengths, an honest look at blind spots, and a better sense of how they work, relate, and grow.
Traits are not verdicts
Everyone has patterns that deserve to be understood, not ranked. A type is a map, not a cage.
Insight should move
If a report does not help you speak, decide, or recover after a hard day, it is only entertainment.
Clarity beats mystique
We publish how the test is scored, what a result is not, and who stands behind these pages.
Stay careful with high-stakes advice
Personality content can shape career and relationship choices. We refuse clinical claims and advice we cannot stand behind.
Why we started DecodePersonality
Most personality content online is either a meme or a wall of jargon. People take a test, get four letters, and still cannot explain how they show up in a hard conversation, a new job, or a week that will not slow down.
We built DecodePersonality to close that gap: a serious free test, then reports and type guides written in plain language so the result means something in real life.
Shailendra Zade founded DecodePersonality because he likes personality typing and wanted a place where the full report stays free: no account wall and no paywall for the details.
He is Chief Technology Officer at CyberRudra Technologies. He runs the site day to day: writing and updating type pages, keeping the assessment free to take, and making sure the scoring method stays published where anyone can read it.
He also set a hard line on what the result is not. He is not a licensed clinician, and DecodePersonality does not offer therapy, counseling, or medical advice. The work is for self-understanding and everyday reflection.

How the test works
From the first statement to your four letters, the path is simple and the scoring stays open.
You move through sixty short statements at your own pace. There is no timer, and every answer counts the same toward the four preference pairs.
When you finish, each pair becomes a letter, with a percentage that shows how clear that lean was. Close calls are labelled instead of forced.
Your report then opens on traits, work, growth, and relationships, so the letters connect to how you show up day to day.
If you want the formula behind a letter, open the scoring method page for the arithmetic and a worked example.
Answer 60 statements
Rate short everyday situations on a five-point scale. Every statement counts equally, and there is no timer.
Score four pairs
Each answer adds points to social energy, information, decisions, or structure. Your four totals build as you go.
Form each letter
The leading side of each pair becomes one letter of your type. The percentage shows how clear that lean was.
Flag close calls
If a side wins by 55% or less, we mark it too close to call and name the neighboring type beside your result.
What we publish
This catalog has four free parts that work as one path, from your first answer to pages you can return to later.
Start with the assessment for your four letters, then read the report while the result is still fresh. The chapters connect type to ordinary weeks, not abstract labels.
When one report is not enough, browse the type pages to compare a close neighbor or to understand someone you know. The same practical chapters run across every type.
We write for everyday reflection, not therapy or hiring decisions. Results stay in this browser unless you choose to share them yourself.
Sixty statements in about ten minutes. No sign-up and no email wall.
